Facebook and TV psychic detective Noreen Renier hoaxes her foresight
claims. Big time. For decades she's posted stories and edited YouTube
and Facebook postings about herself. Many of her stories were
produced and sold for entertainment not accuracy. Many include
naive and initial praises that were withdrawn or uncovered as
bold lies and exaggerations. Deceptions that have misled millions.
In one example she was promoted as having seemingly used some
psychic paranormal powers to help resolve a Staunton Virginia
unsolved rape case where the rapist was arrested and jailed.
But Noreen Renier's claims about the case are psychic shams.

Now in 2012 multiple multiple witnesses have come forward indicating Noreen Renier has over the past three decades described deceptive and false visions and claims about events, including during her own testimony.  And equally revealing are witnesses who can show that Renier continues to repeat deceptions and errors in her biography A Mind For Murder --- even after knowing her statements are Claims Revisedfalse.

Postings on You Tube include Noreen Renier's exaggerated claims of being "instrumental" in resolving a rape case in Staunton Virginia using her psychic vision. For more than two decades she has claimed to the media that she foresaw a direct link to a rape suspect.

She claimed her psychic foresight allowed her to see even prior to his arrest that the rapist would be the driver of a cement truck.

In her revised 2008 edition of A Mind For Murder she claims she described to police that "the rapist is driving a truck with something on it that goes round and round."

When the rapist was arrested it turned out he had indeed driven a cement truck.   This amazing psychic link has been widely credited to Renier and in both the 2005 and 2008 editions of her book she has repeated it.

But is it true?  What did Renier specifically say prior to the rapist's arrest about a cement truck or any truck?

Asked about the case by an attorney shortly after the incident --- while everyone was clear in what had happened --- senior law enforcement officials acknowledged Renier's claim was not true.  Prior to the arrest there was absolutely no mention by Renier of a truck or something on a truck going round and round.   Nothing. And likewise five other "guesses" she offered were off-the-mark though she also attempted to modify two of those claims after the results were known.

Indeed an investigation revealed in the case of the cement truck that Noreen Renier actually created the link after the use of a cement truck was established and her only "pre-vision" was scratch paper filled with circles she had drawn.

These circles she insisted were not a dozen zeros, or the letter "O" repeated, or even what they appeared to be by someone who saw them as simply scribbles made by a woman who had consumed too much red wine and was "clearly sauced after too much drinking."

Instead Noreen Renier while never mentioning that her evidence was just scribbled circles insists "what I showed police" was a truck with something "going round and round."

Her visionary claim simply never happened as she describes it. Even after it's pointed out that she's exaggerated or lied she has repeated the same story again and again --- now for decades.

Even on her current December 2011 posted web site blog she claims "Everything I'd said turned out to be right; the thing 'that went round and round' was a cement truck."

Until he was told the truth one police officer had assumed she had told the truth of having a psychic vision where she saw a truck with a large pivoting area that continually rotated. In his mind he assumed she had described the cement truck. Only later did he learn that she had only drawn circles on paper and in front of another officer who believed she had been "clearly sauced" after drinking too much red wine. The first officer then withdrew his statement --- but it had already been recorded by one reporter who had assumed it had just been verified.

Thousands of readers and dozens of newspapers and TV reporters were never told this claim is fantasized fiction documented only from scribbled circles. But its simply another deception Noreen Renier has evolved over time. The JREF forum has additional information on this Staunton Virginia case associated with Noreen Renier.
